Community Service - Ornaments for MicroSociety

Our Vice President of Communications, Melanie Ricker, and Director of Community Service, Alexus Leonard, organized trips to MicroSociety every other Wednesday in the Fall and every other Thursday in the Spring for about 1.5 hours for the after-school program. Around 10 regular PBL volunteers work with 1st-4thgraders on activities to promote leadership, teamwork, communication, reading, and listening skills. The Micro students mostly interact with our volunteers in larger groups, but there are opportunities for some one-on-one time.
