Community Service - Supply Drive

Several of our members, officers, and advisors stood outside of the Walmart on Parker Rd. taking donations for MicroSociety Magnet School. We were able to collect: 1,583 pens, 222 highlighters, 40 Sharpie markers, 50 Crayola markers, 6 dry-erase markers, 416 #2 pencils, 1,215 mechanical pencils, 2 boxes of 36-count colored pencils, 22 boxes of 12-count colored pencils, 28 boxes of 24-count colored pencils, 8 pairs of earbuds, 15 plastic storage boxes, 6 coloring books, 2 large activity books, 10 reading books, 3 glue, 182 boxes of 24-count crayons, and $192.64. This is a total of 8,952 items. We also received other donations outside of this drive, and with the money, we were able to purchase 300 pairs of earbuds and 100 reading books for $232.58. This brings our total items to 9,352.
